Donald Trump, Jr. has been in the news lately, but it's got nothing to do with any meeting he had at Trump Tower in 2016.
It's got everything to do with his new book that came out this week. He has started a book tour that will bring him here to Houston tomorrow morning at the Westin Galleria.
The Republican Party of Texas is behind this tour stop, and Chairman James Dickey told KTRH there is a lot of interest around here when it comes to the younger Trump.
"They are excited about hearing about what he's done, and about his perspective as a young, aggressive , conservative fighter," Dickey said.
For a couple of years now there has been talk that Trump Jr. would look to make his own move to politics. Dickey says he could see it.
"It is absolutely a trend that we see in the Trump family. They are ready, willing and able to serve at great personal cost," Dickey stated.
The book signing takes place from 10AM until Noon tomorrow.
