Texans host Raiders this afternoon

The Houston Texans have had a week to get that bad taste out of their mouth; the one the Colts gave them thanks to a 30-23 loss last week.

Fans are hoping the Texans take their frustrations out on the Oakland Raiders, who come to Houston with a 3-3 record for a Noon kickoff at NRG Stadium. The Raiders may just be 3-3, but J.J. Watt thinks the Raiders are much better than their record indicates.

"It's a great challenge. We look forward to those types of challenges," Watt said.

Texans coach Bill O'Brien thinks one key to getting a win this afternoon is simply not to start as slow as they have the last number of weeks.

"We need to start the game better and not take as much time to get adjusted to the game, and that's on both sides of the ball," O'Brien stated.

The Raiders are led by Derek Carr, the younger brother of former Texan David Carr.

The two teams haven't played since January of 2017, when the Texans beat Oakland in the playoffs.
