Colleges and universities are often considered bastions of liberalism, but parents can find campuses where conservatism still has a firm hold.
Six Texas colleges and universities rank among the 50 Most Conservative in the US. according to The Stacker, Angelo State University in San Angelo ranks third nationwide, followed by Tarleton State (9), West Texas A&M in Canyon, Texas (16), Midwestern State in Wichita Falls (18), Texas A&M-College Station (30), and UT-Tyler (40).
Rankings are based on student reviews and the political leanings of the campus community.
A different kind of Aggie took the number one spot in the US; it's Utah State University in Logan, Utah.
