The American people laid down a mandate in 2024, which was that they wanted President Trump's America first agenda. But they also made it abundantly clear they reject the progressive Democrat ideology that was pushed by failed candidate Kamala Harris. At every turn, Kamala managed to say something that was more ludicrous than the next and ultimately, talked herself into being blown out in the Presidential election.

You would think the vehement rejection from Americans of this progressive agenda would have the Democrat party self-reflect. Maybe take an angle that is not calling Republican voters Nazi's, racists, and stop pushing their trans kid, woke ideology on people. But alas, the Democrats are incapable of doing that and one again are finding another method of self-immolation.

New polls are once again showing that Kamala Harris is the Presidential frontrunner for the Democrats in 2028. That despite the best efforts of California Governor Gavin Newsom, who has been out finding any camera that will give him attention. It is as baffling as it is humorous at this point.

Republican strategist Jennifer Kelly says some polls have Newsom ahead, but this all shows the Democrats just really have no direction.

"This continual flip flopping...Democrat voters really have not settle into who their candidate will be in 2028," she says.

Which, you can consider the uncertainty a good thing from a logic standpoint. Maybe there is some self-reflection happening, and people are just turned off by both and want something fresh. But more likely, Democrats just cannot decide between which form of overbearing crazy they want because they have not been told by their favorite influencer what to think yet.

But it truly does not matter which one they choose, as either signifies to the country that the party is not serious. No serious party would thrust forward a candidate that is as overwhelmingly as unpopular as Kamala Harris twice.

Especially considering history shows that Kamala, even when given free range to speak, made things worse.

"The single week in 2024 after the convention, that was her best week at the polls...the more voters found out about her, the more she toured, the more she rambled on...the less voters actually liked her," Kelly says.

The numbers of who is ahead in any 2028 poll right now simply do not matter, because we are two years from the election. Much can happen in two years.

But throwing her into the race, especially now, would expose Americans to two years of Kamala word salads. That, somehow unbeknownst to the Democrats, could be the final blow that sinks them into complete irrelevance.
