Harris County Sheriff Ed Gonzalez said on Twitter a 4-year-old girl is in critical condition after falling into a pond at a Buddhist temple on Kuykendahl this morning (Sunday). Initial reports indicated that the girl fell into a well. The girl was in a class when she wandered off . Her mother was looking for her when she found the little girl's socks on the side of the pond. Gonzalez said the child was pulled out and transported via helicopter to an area hospital where she is in critical condition.
