You keep hearing predictions of 'Doomsday' if we don't do something about climate change. Here's the problem. Those predictions have yet to come true.
The latest one was from Alexandria Ocasio Cortez. AOC made waves by saying climate change would wipe out the city of Miami. Marc Morano with The Climate Depot says you can add that to the long list of 'Doomsdays' that didn't happen.
"They have used these scares and these predictions to advance policy, and to advance political goals," Morano said.
And this has been going on for years, fifty years to be exact. In 1969 the New York Times predicted we would disappear in a "cloud of blue steam." Morano says it'll never end.
There's no end to these predictions because they are trying to achieve policy goals, Morano explained. "They will keep coming."
And there's this; to deal with anxiety over climate change some parents are actually going out and giving their kids prescription drugs.
