Illegals file lawsuit that could drain the economy leaving taxpayers to pay

Two illegal aliens are suing the Trump administration for the right to get on welfare and be granted green cards through DACA.

The Trump administration is trying to save American taxpayers billions of dollars every year by screening illegal immigrants to see if they would be self-sufficient.

Jessica Vaughn with Centers for Immigration Studies said DACA supporters claim the illegal immigrants need amnesty because they're an economic benefit.

"You can't have it both ways. If you're such an economic boost to our country then you don't need welfare. But, the truth is that they have been a fiscal drain and we need to address that through our immigration system," said Vaughn.

She said they aren't even eligible for a green card or public assistance.

"If we believe their narrative, all of them are successful individuals who don't need public assistance, and yet, they're demanding the right to get public assistance," said Vaughn.

She said the illegal aliens suing claim they're being discriminated against and the rule is racist against non-white immigrants.

If the lawsuit is ruled in their favor, taxpayers would have to pay at least $26 billion for more than three million so-called Dreamers.

An estimated one in five DACA illegal aliens would end up on food stamps. At least one in seven would go on Medicaid.
