A Texas medical student was having a hard time and found herself crying in a shopping mall. A woman approached her and told her that her family was cursed---and she herself was a psychic who could lift that curse from her family.
For the next seven years the "fortune teller" scammed the woman out of $1,600,000 (One Point Six Million Dollars). The once-medical student is, but a judge's orders, receiving 1.6 million dollars after filing a lawsuit on the woman. The scammer was also sentenced to three years in prison.
You just have to wonder, if she was smart enough to get into medical school, isn't she smart enough to see... well, you know.
