The mainstream media's anti-Trump bias continues even though they have taken some hits recently for what they have done.
Over the last week President Trump lashed out at Fox, and over at MSNBC Lawrence O'Donnell had to retract a story he got wrong.
"I did not go through the rigorous verification and standards process here at MSNBC before repeating what I heard from my source," O'Donnell said.
The story O'Donnell reported was about Trump's alleged ties to Russian oligarchs. It took up multiple segments. The apology lasted just twenty-three seconds. Boston University professor Tobe Berkovitz told KTRH that retraction simply got buried.
"That is typical. A story goes out, gets a lot of traction. If it gets retracted it gets much less publicized," Brokovitz said.
We know MSNBC is anti-Trump, and anti-Republican. Berkovitz adds that the partisan bias was there long before Trump got into office.
"This is not a knew trend. It's just a more powerful trend than before. The media has been highly partisan for a long time," he stated.
But now the President's supporters are fighting back. Axios says allies are raising millions to investigate mainstream media outlets like the Washington Post and NY Times.
