We're the 4th most-friendly state in the US according to a survey by Big 7 Travel. Respondents say our "large cities are boosted with small town vibes from locals, who will welcome you with open arms."
You won't get a cold shoulder in Minnesota; the Gopher State topped the list. But don't expect a friendly "how yooz guys doin' " in New York - which ranked dead last. The northeast region didn't fare well in general; Delaware, Massachusetts and New Jersey ranked 48, 47 and 46, respectively.
