Willie Nelson cancels tour due to illness

Country music legend Willie Nelson has announced he has cancelled his current tour because of a breathing problem.

“To my fans, I’m sorry to cancel my tour, but I have a breathing problem that I need to have my doctor check out,” he said on Twitter on last night. “I’ll be back. Love, Willie.”

The 'Club Luck' tour was supposed to get underway this week. Nelson was going to bring his show to Sugar Land on November 18th and Galveston on the 19th.

Nelson has dealt with several health issues over the past few years. Last summer he canceled his appearance at the Outlaw Music Festival because of an illness, and was forced to cancel several tour dates earlier in 2018.

Nelson’s latest album, Ride Me Back Home, came out in June.
