Houston police say they are investigating after a small child was found in the middle of a street in the Sharpstown area eat around 4am this morning. Apparently police say they have located the little boy's family. They live in an apartment next to the road where the toddler was found.
The child, who they think is 18 months old, was found at about 4 a.m. on Ranchester near Bellwood. Police say three people who were on their way to work found the child . They stopped their car and called police for help
Police do not know how the child ended up in the road, though it appears as if the boy slipped outside the apartment while other family members were asleep.
