The Harris County Sheriff's Office confirms, the suspect accused of assaulting a deputy early Friday morning is now in custody.
Investigators were searching for the suspect in a northwest Harris County neighborhood for more than an hour.
He was reportedly found hiding behind a residence, approximately one mile from the original scene.

The Harris County Sheriff’s Office is asking residents to be on their toes and call 911 to report suspicious activity.
Residents are encouraged to lock their doors and stay inside their homes.
A description of the suspect has not been released but deputies say he may be a white or Hispanic male and could be armed.
The sheriff’s office say a deputy was assaulted by the suspect when they responded to a domestic disturbance at that location. The deputy fired on the suspect, but it is not clear if this is the same deputy who was attacked.
