In northwest Harris County drivers of a red Ford 150 and a Toyota Camry got mad at one another and ended up in some kind of loud altercation on Royal Mile Land at Tain Drive.
The homeowner of the residence where they had stopped came from the house and ordered them to leave.
He alleges that one of the drivers tried to run him over, causing the homeowner to discharge a weapon and shoot at the vehicle.
The driver was struck in the shoulder by a bullet.
He's being treated at Ben Taub hospital.
