A Houston Good Samaritan Hurt for His Kindness

police - ambulance - fire lights and road, street, accident, hit and run

All he wanted to do is help.

Around five Sunday morning there was a violent accident in southwest Houston on Main Street near the 610 Loop that left a car’s transmission in the road and shredding pieces of metal spread across the road.

An anonymous man stopped to try to help get a motorist out of a truck that had caught fire.

That’s when another vehicle came barreling through and hit the truck, pinning the Good Samaritan beneath it. Houston firefighters had to rescue him.

The Good Samaritan, who has not been identified, is hospitalized.
