Is there anything better than free beer on the beach?
Galveston Island Brewing is offering a free beer to anyone who helps clean up the beach the morning after July 4th celebrations. Volunteers can also get ten-percent off the rest of their bill as part of the "Star Spangled Beach Cleanup."
Just pick up a sack at either East Beach or the Seawall at 37th Street and snap a picture of yourself with a bagful of debris.
Cleanup starts at 8:00am. Galveston Island Brewing opens at 10.
