Texas Senator Ted Cruz plans to visit the southern border tomorrow as part of the Border Patrol's annual security initiative event.
The event will take place near Anzalduas Park in Hidalgo County.
The chief patrol agent for the Rio Grande Valley sector will also be part of the event.
The Republican Senator came to the Rio Grande Valley last June to tour a youth migrant shelter in Brownsville with fellow Texas Senator John Cornyn.
