Around 11:00 Saturday morning, a parent arrived for work on Stewart road in Galveston with a 1 old child was left in the car. At approximately 4:00 in the afternoon, the parent returned to the car and found the child to be unresponsive. The child was transported to the emergency room at Galveston UTMB where treatment was given to no avail. The child was pronounced dead at the hospital. An investigation is underway.
