Today Houston said its Final Farewell to Maleah Davis - the 4 year old girl whose remains were found in Arkansas on May 30th - at the Community Crossing Church's private funeral service. Hundreds of mourners attended. "Parents Loving Their Children" was the center of a message delivered by Houston Mayor Sylvester Turner.
On display was her obituary that contained messages written as if Maleah had said it herself. One of the messages is, ""I enjoyed my life and I want to thank everyone who made me laugh, smile and love on you." Her mother's former boyfriend is in custody on related charges.
