A teen athlete from Conroe is gearing up to compete in the MLB Junior Home Run Derby this summer.
Karsen Luther is a 14-year-old heading into his freshman year at Conroe High School.
As a baseball player, he's hit enough homers to qualify for the upcoming event, which takes place at Progressive Field in Cleveland, Ohio, a few days before the All-Star Game.
Karsen will compete on July 6th, and then will meet many of the All-Stars and take batting practice with them.
The All-Star Game in on July 9th.
