Katy Cop Shooter Hauled Before A Judge

The man accused of shooting a Harris County Sheriff’s Deputy in Katy Friday night was brought before a judge for official charging overnight.

Brady Ray is accused of shooting the Deputy while trying to break into his ex-wife’s home.

He is charged with aggravated assault, aggravated assault against a police officer, ad burglary of a habitation with intent to commit assault.

In court Ray admitted to shooting the Deputy who was responding to a domestic disturbance call. He admitted he illegally entered his wife’s home using the doggie-door, and texted her once inside.

The deputy is recovering from surgery at Hermann Memorial Hospital in the Texas Medical Center. He’s in stable condition.
