President Trump says if the mainstream media wants to keep on attacking him, then he has no choice but to keep going back at them.
On Twitter earlier this week, the President says he's doing this so you won't believe fake news. Dan Gainor at the Media Research Center says he doesn’t blame Trump at all.
“He has two choices. Either fight back or be a punching bag. They are not going to stop,” Gainor told KTRH.
Gainor says you don't mind this because your opinion of the media has gone down over these last two years.
“Conservatives realize the media is on an absolute crusade to take down Donald Trump,” Gainor stated.
And then there's Hollywood defending the media; like Bryan Cranston at the Tony Awards on Sunday.
“I would like to dedicate this to all the real journalists around the world, both in the press — the print media — and the broadcast media, who actually are in the line of fire with their pursuit of the truth,” Cranston said. “The media is not the enemy of the people. Demagoguery is the enemy of the people.”
But, Gainor says Hollywood defending the left and attacking the media hasn’t been news now for years, so he’s not getting worked up over what Cranston said.
