A person of interest in connection with a string of rape investigations between Pasadena and Missouri City had now been charged with at least one sexual assault where a woman was targeted as she left a Houston-area gym.
Carlos Eduardo Guevara, who is 18-years old 18, has been charged with aggravated sexual assault and aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.
Police say the car the man was believed to be driving was also seized as part of the investigation.
Earlier this week police said the woman was leaving Fitness Connection just after midnight Tuesday when the man followed her to her home in a green-colored Ford Mustang. They said that when the woman walked to her front door, the suspect confronted her and forced her back into her car at gunpoint.
According to police, the suspect demanded the woman drive to another location where he sexually assaulted her before leaving.
