Houston drivers getting another break on gas

There is more good news for drivers around Houston. Gas prices keep moving in the right direction.

“We are down on the week two cents to $2.61, and when you look at what we were paying last year, the price is down seven cents,” said Daniel Armbruster with AAA Texas.

But even though this is the second straight week they have gone down, Armbruster says where prices go from here is difficult to forecast.

“Market analysts warn there are many factors that could push gas prices back up, including Chinese tariffs and warmer weather,” Armbruster explained.

That said, this is the first time in three months we have seen a consistent decline in the price of gas.
