The drive in to work is already off to a deadly start, and it's only Monday.
Law enforcement is investigating a fatal crash in East Harris County.
The crash happened shortly after 3:30 this morning on the East Freeway eastbound at Uvalde, shutting down three feeder lanes.
The driver that was killed was 18-years old. The unidentified teenager was ejected when the crash occurred. The driver's brother was taken to Texas Children's Hospital and is expected to survive.
The crash caused the car that was involved to split in half.
