Before he became President, Donald Trump made a promise to turn around an economy for those ‘forgotten’ men and women the Obama recovery left behind. Consider that another promise this President kept.
New research shows red counties that voted for Trump are booming more under this economy than blue counties that voted for Hillary. RNC Committeeman Robin Armstrong told KTRH everything the President has done has been with those people Obama left behind in mind.
“He really set out to try and change. He recognized there was a forgotten man and woman which a lot of Democrats, and a lot of Republicans, did not see,” Armstrong explained.
And it's something voters from both sides will take into account in 2020.
“Most people are going to make decisions based on their pocketbooks,” Armstrong stated.
Adding it's only a minority that vote for the extremes anymore.
