LISTEN: Houston area kids going home after being stuck in school overnight

Hundreds of students were stuck at schools after severe weather hit the area yesterday. About 60 students at Southside Elementary School in the Cleveland ISD had to spend the night in school.

The kids made the best of it, and are going home now. Pictures posted by Cleveland ISD superintendent Chris Trotter show how the district provided for the kids overnight. Trotter joined Houston's Morning News on KTRH and told Jimmy Barrett and Shara Fryer the kids are fine and that everyone made the best of the situation.
