A Katy-based cooler company plans to open a factory outlet store this weekend that's twice the size of its previous store.
The headquarters of Igloo Products once had an 18-hundred-square-foot shop in the back of its two-million-square-foot manufacturing plant.
The store space is now doubled to 36-hundred-square-feet, but Igloo doesn't plan to hire new employees for the expanded store.
The company employs about a thousand workers in Katy.
