Houston gas prices went up again, but AAA Texas’ Daniel Armbruster says the increase won’t hurt too badly.
“The price only went up two cents $2.65. It’s really not much higher than it was a year ago,” Armbruster said.
But, prices are up seventy cents since the start of 2019. Armbruster says research done by AAA shows you will have to work 22% longer just to keep up with the increase.
“Texans are having to dip a little further into their pockets to pay for gas. This trend, while it is slowing down right now, could pick up as we get closer to the summer driving season,” Armbruster explained.
