Former Aggie Wide Receiver is Machete Murderer

There was no defense.

A former Aggie player is found guilty in a 2015 murder. Thomas Johnson was convicted by a Dallas County jury today. His attorneys did not put up a defense because Johnson admitted to hacking Dave Stevens to death. Stevens was jogging on the White Rock Creek Trail at the time of the killing. Thomas Johnson's family says he was diagnosed with schizophrenia in 2014.

He was a wide receiver with the Aggies when they beat Alabama in 2012. Days after the game, Johnson disappeared and never returned to the school. Possible punishment could be life in prison. He could also be sent to a mental hospital for the rest of his life.
