Texas Voter Fraud Lawsuit is Resolved

Texas is settling a lawsuit over an advisory claiming thousands of non-citizens were voting in elections.

The agreement was reached today between the state and Texas League of United Latin American Citizens.

It says Texas will rescind the advisory which was sent in January. The advisory contained a list of people the state claimed were voting illegally although errors were found in the data.

The Secretary of State's Office will still be briefed by Department of Public Safety regarding potential non-citizen voting.

Both sides say they're glad the suit is over.
