A possible tornado touched down in San Augustine County last night, and law enforcement says it destroyed homes and businesses.
San Augustine County is just east of Lufkin.
So far there have been no injuries or deaths reported.
The worst of the damage seems to be along the west side of San Augustine, where power lines are reported down everywhere.
Schools in the area are closed today.
Elsewhere, two people were killed in Ruston as a tornado ripped through the town and Louisiana Tech University campus early this morning.
