Gas prices keep rising

Gas prices in Houston have gone up again. Daniel Armbruster with AAA Texas tells KTRH there doesn’t seem to be any relief in sight.

“The average went up three cents to $2.63 a gallon. That’s only six cents more than it was last year,” Armbruster stated.

And with the U.S. ending waivers for countries importing oil from Iran, Armbruster says prices will keep going up.

“That’s going to tighten supplies on the global market and cause prices to go up,” Armbruster said.

But the good news for Texas is that we won’t feel the pain as badly as states like California will.
