The Houston Fire Department is teaming up with the Muscular Dystrophy Association again for this year’s ‘Fill the Boot’ campaign. Assistant HFD Chief Ruy Lozano told KTRH it’s something the department looks forward to every year.
“Every Saturday through May 4th we’ll be holding our fire boots to collect Money. This is a big campaign that we’ve been involved with for many years,” Lozano explained.
HFD has raised more than $8 million dollars for MDA over the years. Their goal this year is to raise $500 thousand.
