An unprecedented amount of outside investment is flowing into the U.S.space industry But the sector is bracing for a wave of expected failures as startup firms grapple with developing a viable way to make money in the commercial market.
Dr. Morgan Rehnberg tells KTRH, "This reminds me of the computer industry in the 1980's, when a whole bunch of computer companies popped up, but only a handful actually made it. A new space company needs to look into taking smaller platforms and ideas for space."
