WARNING: If You Fish On the Gulf Coast... READ THIS FIRST!

(Seabrook, TX) -- Investigators are reporting that a dead dolphin in Seabrook seems to have no connection with the recent fire at a Deer Park chemical facility.

The Texas Marine Mammal Stranding Network investigated to see if the dolphin's death was related to the chemical fire at Intercontinental Terminals Company and a spill into the Houston Ship Channel that resulted.

An EPA spokesman says the dolphin seemed not to have been affected by the incident. ITC officials say the spill killed two turtles, eight birds and nine fish. Cleanup continues at the site.
