(Deer Park, TX) -- A brief video statement from the CEO of Intercontinental Terminals Company is now available for viewing on YouTube. ITC posted the video on Wednesday, ten days after a fire broke out at its Deer Park chemical storage plant.
In the video, CEO Bernt Netland apologizes to the community, pointing out that most of ITC's employees live near the plant. Netland also thanks emergency personnel for their response to the fire.
Cleanup continues at the site. Harris County and the state of Texas, among others, are suing ITC over the fire.
