A member of the Houston Police Department was arrested in Kingsville Saturday after his wife was found shot to death in their Pearland home.
Authorities detained 56-year old Sergeant Hilario R. Hernandez at a hotel 100-miles north of the Texas-Mexico border.He is being returned to Brazoria County to face a murder charge.
The victim was identified as Belinda Hernandez, a librarian in the Pearland ISD for the last 15 years.The couple had been married for three decades and has two grown children.
