COLLEGE ADMISSIONS SCHEME: Houston Residents Charged

(Houston, TX) -- A test administrator and a tennis coach from Houston are part of a large group of people across the country who are facing charges for a massive college admissions bribery scheme. The FBI announced yesterday it is charging 50 people, including wealthy parents, actors, sports coaches and more, with offering and taking bribes in exchange for getting certain kids into prestigious schools.

In Houston, Lisa Williams, also known as Niki, was indicted for allegedly taking bribes to help high school students cheat on their SAT exams. And Martin Fox, the head of a private Houston tennis camp, was indicted for allegedly arranging bribes between parents and the tennis coach at the University of Texas at Austin.
