GUN CONTROL: House Passes Another Gun Bill

For the second time this week, the House has approved a bill calling for stricter gun laws.

After voting on Wednesday to require all gun sellers to conduct background checks on buyers, the House passed another bill Thursday that would extend the waiting period for background checks from 3 days to 10 days.

Supporters say the bill would close a loophole that allowed infamous Charleston shooter Dylann Roof to acquire a weapon.

It's not clear if either bill will make it past the Republican-controlled Senate, and the White House has already threatened to veto.

Do these laws sound reasonable to you, or are they too strict? What's the most effective way to keep guns away people who shouldn't have them?
