How Sinful is Your State?

(WalletHub) - WalletHub just put out its annual list of the "Most Sinful States in America." And you could probably guess what #1 is.

They rated the sinfulness of each state based on 43 "indicators of immorality," which were then separated into seven categories that correspond with the seven deadly sins.

For example, some of the things they looked at for "wrath" were violent crimes and bullying. For "lust," they looked at teen birth rates and Google searches for porn. And for "greed," they looked at casinos per capita and how many people donate to charity.

According to the results, the 10 MOST sinful states this year are Nevada . . . Florida . . . California . . . Texas . . . Tennessee . . . Louisiana . . . Georgia . . . Illinois . . . Michigan . . . and Arizona. (Believe it or not, Nevada wasn't #1last year.)

The ten LEAST sinful states are Vermont . . . Maine . . . North Dakota . . . Nebraska . . . Idaho . . . Iowa . . . Wyoming . . . Utah . . . New Hampshire . . . and South Dakota.
