(Blanchard, TX) -- Authorities are investigating a possible multiple murder-suicide involving five people at a Southeast Texas home.
The Polk County sheriff's office says a husband and wife, their granddaughter, and the granddaughter's husband and baby were found shot to death around 10:30 a.m. Monday at a house on FM 3126 in unincorporated Blanchard. The granddaughter's mother was found alive in the house and is not considered a suspect. The Texas Rangers are assisting with the investigation. Polk County is about 100 miles northeast of Houston.
