Toys R Us Planning A Comeback

One year after going out of business, Toys R Us and Babies R Us might be making a comeback soon.

According to CNBC , a new company called Tru Kids Inc. has taken over as the parent company for Toys R Us, Babies R Us, and Geoffrey the Giraffe. The team at Tru Kids Inc. includes its president Richard Barry, the former CMO of Toys R Us and other former employees of the iconic toy retail giant. The company hasn't officially announced their full strategy yet, but their primary focus is to bring back and grow the Toys R Us brand in the United States. They are currently planning to open 70 stores this year in Asia, India and Europe.
