SYMPTOMS: Five Measles Cases Confirmed In 3 Local Counties

(Houston, TX) -- Health officials in three local counties are reporting a total of five cases of measles. Harris County Public Health reports two cases involving young boys and a third case involving a woman. All three of the patients live in northwest Harris County. Also on Monday, Galveston and Montgomery Counties each reported a case of measles.

The Galveston County patient is a one-year-old boy, and the one in Montgomery County is a two-year-old girl who is recovering.
