You might not notice it because it’s slight, but gas prices are rising again around Houston. Daniel Armbruster with AAA-Texas tells KTRH the increase was very small, and not the norm around Texas this week.
“Houston is one of the few areas in Texas to see an increase. Prices went up to $1.97,” Armbruster explained.
The average around Texas dropped. That’s a result of lower oil process, which was the result of lower demand. The frigid temperatures across the country played a role, too. But Armbruster said that’s going to change.
“This trend is not expected to last very long,” Armbruster stated.
