HUGE NUMBERS: Texas Voter Fraud Data Report

(Austin, TX) -- Officials in Travis and Williamson counties are questioning the validity of the Secretary of State's report on non citizen voters. Yesterday, Travis County Elections Administrator Bruce Elfant said any assertion of voter fraud is premature since Secretary of State David Whitley's Friday advisory hasn't yet been verified.

Whitley's advisory claims data going back to the 1970s shows 95,000 non-citizens are registered Texas voters, 58,000 of whom may have actually voted.

Williamson County election administrator Christopher Davis says more research is necessary since some of the advisory's driver license data originating from the Department of Public Safety is tagged showing people had proper proof of citizenship.
