The trend started last week around Houston, and it continues this week.
The price of a gallon of gas began creeping up to $1.92, and has now hit the $1.96 mark. Daniel Armbruster with AAA Texas tells KTRH News the price may keep on rising.
“This is due to rising crude oil prices. That’s what we will be watching in the coming days, because they will determine what drivers will pay in the coming weeks,” Armbruster said.
Before you get upset that prices are rising. Keep in mind that last year on this date you were paying $2.30 a gallon.
