It’s construction season in Houston: somewhere between January 1 and December 31. Expect to feel the impact this weekend.
The Texas Department of Transportation plans to close a couple of Houston freeways for roadwork this weekend.
Roadwork will close the outbound mainlanes of the North Freeway at Rayford-Sawdust Road until 5 on Monday morning.
Highway 288 will be closed in both directions at FM 518, and 518 will be closed at 288 as well.
288 is shut down until 9 on Saturday morning.
FM 518 is closed until 5 on Monday morning. All the closures are due to work on bridges.
