Gas keeps falling, but it may not last

You probably will have a smile on your face as you go to fill up at your gas station around Houston today. Daniel Armbruster with AAA-Texas tells KTRH prices are down once again.

“The average went down another two cents on the week to $1.90,” Armbruster said.

But there are signals that those prices won’t last. Oil futures have been trending up. And the price of gas in Dallas and Fort Worth were also up. Armbruster says when it comes to gas prices, we tend to follow what happens in North Texas.

“What we do see is that when prices do go up in the DFW area, a week or two later prices will start to go up in other area, and possibly in Houston,” Armbruster stated.
