(Chicago, IL) -- McDonald's is adding bacon to its menu. Beginning January 30, the fast-food chain will begin smothering its fries with cheese and bacon.
The launch of Cheesy Bacon Fries is intended to encourage customers to order them as a snack, and not just a side.
McDonald's is also adding the Big Mac Bacon and Quarter Pounder Bacon, which adds bacon to its classic burgers. Cheesy fries have been sold by McDonald's for years in countries like Spain and Canada.
